The sender was the Future Cigarettes company.
"To our long-term customer."
Inside was a slim gold box. The instructions read:
"The Final Cigarette. It cleanly burns away the very desire surrounding smoking."
Mr. N frowned.
Too convenient.
The instructions went on.
"This product processes, in a single cigarette, the memories, longing, habits, restlessness of the mouth, and excuses around smoking that remain within you. After use, you approach a state that needs no cigarettes."
